Nursery
The Nursery supports children to learn through investigation and developing their curiosity, we follow their lead to further expand their learning.
We value our relationships with our parents and carers and provide numerous opportunities throughout the year for everyone to become involved within our Nursery community.
Current Covid restrictions apply, however we like to still find ways to keep this connection and build strong relationships.
Each child has their own individual online learning journal, which tracks their work and progressions. This ensures that that their learning and progress is monitored and next steps are recognised supporting each child to achieve their maximum potential. Children learn through play and most experiences and opportunities are child led.
We are situated in the grounds of the school. We maintain links with the school which not only enhances relationships but also supports a smooth transition for children when moving on to Primary 1. However, we also support transitions to other schools, toensure as smooth a move as possible.
We are now managed by a Nursery Manager, who also manages Keith Primary Nursery. We are supported by a team at Head Office, who are there specifically to support everyone in Early Years.
