“Nae View” is a 150 year old mill worker’s stone cottage – not much of a view but is in the perfect location to walk to all the local attractions including the oldest working whisky distillery in the Highlands of Scotland, namely Strathisla located in Seafield Ave, Keith.
The self contained cottage can accommodate up to 4 adults, 2 children plus an infant and is available from Friday 3pm to Monday 11am and from Monday 3pm to Friday 11am. Other days by request.
- Nearby free parking.
- The space
- Nae View cottage is the perfect base to explore the North East of Scotland. The space is quaint and quirky yet contains all mod-cons.
- The cottage has its own small walled garden with mature shrubs and trees. Watch the birds from the sun room.
- Interaction with guests
- The owners live a short distance away and are available if needed.
- Other things to note
Due to the original character of old Scottish stone cottages (low ceilings and small spaces) the accommodation will not suit overly tall or wide individuals.
The bedrooms are located in the attic roof space and have sloped ceilings (see photographs) and bathroom is equipped with what must be one of the smallest baths in the world. There is a good shower.
13 steep steps take you up and down from the ground floor to the sleeping space in the roof.
A sleeper couch (double) is available in the ground floor lounge.
