Yoga @ King Memorial Hall, Grange

Yoga classes are held in the King Memorial Hall on Monday mornings from 9.45 am to 11.15 am every week, other than during school holidays. The classes include exercises to develop strength and flexibility, and some relaxation and meditation. They are geared to suit all abilities from beginners to people with previous experience with yoga. The classes are ‘pay as you go’, so you can come along for as many or as few as you wish. Active Ageing classes @ Longmore Hall

This is a fun and friendly community low impact exercise class for older adults to improve mobility and flexibility; balance and coordination; strength, confidence and independence.
It can provide a follow on from physio rehabilitation and can help those who may have long term medical conditions including Type 2 diabetes, arthritis and joint problems, moderately high (managed) blood pressure, mild to moderate anxiety and/or depression and balance problems.
It is supported by Moray Community Physiotherapy team and the Moray Community Wellbeing Development team.
You can either self refer and just turn up or you can be referred by your GP or other health professional. If anyone has any questions, please phone Barbara on 07810870612.
 
The instructor, Barbara Stearn, is Level 3 GP Exercise Referral qualified.
