Walking netball @ Keith Sports & Community Centre

WALKING netball sessions in Elgin have proved so popular that sessions are now being extended to include Keith.

A six-week trial, beginning Thursday 25 October, will take place at the Keith Sports and Community Centre from 2.50-3.40pm. Sessions cost £3 each, or a Fit Life membership can be used.

Previous experience of netball is not needed as the basic skills and rules will be coached at the sessions. The focus for anyone that comes along – regardless of age or gender – is to have fun and become more active.

More information on the sessions is available by calling 01343 563657, or head along to the session to speak with the coach.

Yoga @ King Memorial Hall, Grange

Yoga classes are held in the King Memorial Hall on Monday mornings from 9.45 am to 11.15 am every week, other than during school holidays. The classes include exercises to develop strength and flexibility, and some relaxation and meditation. They are geared to suit all abilities from beginners to people with previous experience with yoga. The classes are ‘pay as you go’, so you can come along for as many or as few as you wish.
