KYDL Set Date For Public Consultation

Keith Youth and Development League (KYDL) are a group based in Keith who promote and provide an opportunity for children aged 4-14 to play football.  Earlier this year they started the ball rolling for a community asset transfer of Fife Park and its pavilion.

Ashley Inglis, KYDL secretary said “we have been overwhelmed by community support and the many positive comments and thank everyone concerned.

We have been in contact with many local groups, delivered flyers over Fife Keith, advertised through local papers and social media.  We have been in contact with community councils and councilors etc.”

KYDL are holding a public consultation where the public can come along to meet with some of the committee members, ask questions, have any concerns addressed or simply to show support.  It will be held at Fife Park Pavilion on Monday 24th July from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Ashley said “we still welcome comments/questions via our email or feel free to approach a committee member.  We would also like to encourage locals to write letters of support which we can use as evidence at the end of our consultation.  We currently have our online survey running which will only take minutes to complete.

We would just like to thank everyone involved to date”.
