Books and music CDs are 65p

What we provide:

Free computer and internet access / Free Wifi access

Books for all ages and interests / Books can be requested from other Moray libraries free of charge

Ebooks and E-Audio books can be downloaded from the Library catalogue, free of charge

Books on CD and music CDs for adults (65p for 4 weeks) and children (free of charge)

DVDs for adults and children (£2.50 for 2 weeks)

Local collection including Banffshire Herald, Census records, Parish Records on microfilm.

Photocopying / Fax

All members have free access to accredited reference databases such as Britannica, Oxford Reference, SCRAN;  both in the library and on-line from their home computer.

Computer Courses: ECDL / PC Passport (for beginners) / Get DigITal – (free beginner’s 3 week course)

Children’s activities (Please contact the library for full details as times may change)

Storytime – Mondays 2-2.45pm  (stories for pre-school)

Bookbug sessions – Fridays 10am – songs and rhymes for babies and toddlers up to 4 years old

Library Club – Tuesdays 3.15-4pm in term time  – Stories and simple craft for P1-P3

Junior Book Group – Friday at 3.30pm every 4 weeks – Book discussion for P6-P7.

We welcome school classes, brownies, cubs etc as a fun way to learn how to use a library.

Book Group – for adults – last Friday of the month at 11am

Job Club – for job seekers, every Friday 1.30-3pm.  Volunteers on hand to help with on-line job searching, CVs etc.

We are the meeting place for the Keith & District Local Heritage Group, Saturday afternoon once a month during the winter months – contact us for details.

We also have regular Book Sales of withdrawn Moray Libraries stock.

We have all sorts of talks, open days, displays by local groups, occasional author visits.

And, of course, we are a nice place to browse, study, catch up with the local papers, meet a friend. Friendly staff who will help you find the book or information that you require, or will help you to use the computers.

We are fully accessible with ramped access, automatic doors and have a disabled car parking space at the back of the building, accessible from Land Street, first lane up from Union Street.
