Local collection including Banffshire Herald, Census records, Parish Records on microfilm.
Photocopying / Fax
All members have free access to accredited reference databases such as Britannica, Oxford Reference, SCRAN; both in the library and on-line from their home computer.
Computer Courses: ECDL / PC Passport (for beginners) / Get DigITal – (free beginner’s 3 week course)

Storytime – Mondays 2pm (stories for pre-school)
Bookbug sessions – Fridays 10 am in term-time – songs and rhymes for babies and toddlers up to 4 years old
Library Club – Tuesdays 3 pm in term time – Stories and simple craft for P1-P3
Junior Book Group – Mondays every 4 weeks 3.30 pm – Book discussion for P6-P7.
We welcome school classes, brownies, cubs etc as a fun way to learn how to use a library.

Book Group – for adults – at present last Thursday of each month, 2 pm. Day may change, please contact library for details.
Job Club – for job seekers, 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, 2-4. Volunteers on hand to help with on-line job searching, CVs etc.
We are the meeting place for the Keith & District Local Heritage Group, Saturday afternoon once a month during the winter months – contact us for details.
We also have regular Book Sales of withdrawn Moray Libraries stock, next one is Tuesday December 1st – Monday December 7th, during regular opening hours.
We have all sorts of talks, open days, displays by local groups, occasional author visits.
And, of course, we are a nice place to browse, study, catch up with the local papers, meet a friend. Friendly staff who will help you find the book or information that you require, or will help you to use the computers.
We are fully accessible with ramped access, automatic doors and have a disabled car parking space at the back of the building, accessible from Land Street, first lane up from Union Street.
