Welcome to inkeith.com

The Moray town of Keith is undergoing a significant spend to help regenerate and restore its town centre.  We are also looking to support the growth of investment and development in the area and are encouraging businesses and people to consider making Keith – Strathisla their home.

Keith has become a centre for arts and culture, being the first place in Scotland to be bestowed the title ‘Scots Toun’ and with an annual Traditional Music and Song Association Festival which has just celebrated its 40th year in 2015.

A long established whisky town, it has also added beer brewing to its mix of industries, which includes farming, engineering and retail. There’s a great range of independent shops available, with butchers, bakers, a deli, ladies fashions, pharmacies, newsagents, furniture, flooring, framing, electrical, arts and crafts with much more in the mix.

Our website has been developed to give a flavour of what this great part of North -East Scotland has to offer – an abundance of community spirit, low crime rates, excellent value properties, easy access to coast and countryside and swift connections to the cities of Aberdeen and Inverness.

Find out why our friendly town offers the perfect package for everyone – for investment, for living, for leisure and recreation…….for life.

The Pop Up Shop pops up again!

Local businesses and organisations will be pleased to hear of the return of the’ infamous’ Pop Up Shop in Mid Street which was originally set up through the Keith CARS scheme to help promote local businesses and organisations with a view that they would set up shops on Mid Street, Keith and the surrounding area.

Pop Up Shop

Pop Up Shop

KSRP (Keith and Strathisla Regeneration Partnership) acquired the shop again to keep this trend going due to its success for the town centre with five new shops opening after using the pop up shop.

The shop is aimed to enable businesses, organisations and local people to have the opportunity to sell locally with the prospect of maybe opening their own business on a more permanent basis in the area.

***You can email us at mail@inkeith.com to arrange your bookings and all enquiries***

At the moment, we are accepting up to two weeks let with FREE rents, utilities and rates, so it is well worth your while if you have any thoughts of promoting and perhaps expanding your business to the local community to book in with us. All we ask is that the shop is manned and not used for window promotions only.

Ad-ded interest

You may have seen our  television advertising campaign on STV. The specially commissioned ad was designed to raise the profile of the town to attract visitors, day trippers and investors. The ad features a wide variety of images that give a flavour of the area, with strong use of the In Keith logo,  and you can watch the ad here.
