Scotland’s First
Scots Toun

The Moray town of Keith and the surrounding area of Strathisla is located in the North East of Scotland half way between Aberdeen and Inverness.

Our friendly town offers the perfect package to suit everyone.

Keith is proud to have been bestowed the considerable honour of Scotland’s first Scots Toun, a Scottish Government accolade awarded to communities who celebrate and promote their linguistic culture, an important part of which is the ever-popular annual TMSA (Traditional Music & Song Association) Keith Festival, established in 1976.

A long established Whisky town, it has also added Beer brewing and Gin making to its mix of industries, which includes Farming and Engineering.

There’s an abundance of independent shops offering food, clothing, furnishings and fancy goods. As well as a good selection of health and beauty services.
